VOLUNTEERING

"Volunteers are not paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless"

At Equine Partners CIO we couldn't agree more.  Our team of Volunteers are amazing and they fill many roles. We could not function without them.

Whether you have a few hours or a few days we would love to see you.  We have a wide variety of roles at Equine Partners that we would love to have volunteers help us with, even for those that aren't horsey!

Here are just a few ways in which you can Volunteer for us - if you think of something else you want to do, just let us know!

participation project

By attending Directors meetings or having discussions with us and ensuring that we keep our community focus providing the right services for those that visit us. We especially welcome older children and teenagers in this role.

Volunteer as a Business

We welcome business to send a team of volunteers for a day as part of their charity work.  We have lots of big project to do and always appreciate a helping hand.

We recently had a wonderful team from M&S come and help us empty our barn as part of their #MarksInAction  week.

Volunteer Days

Several times a year we hold volunteer days to tackle big projects at the yard.

If you would like to come and join us  please pop us a message or keep an eye on our facebook page of upcoming events!

SPEAK TO A MEMBER OF THE TEAM TO FIND OUT WHEN THE NEXT VOLUNTEER DAY IS!

What can we do for you?

We believe that all volunteers should get something back for the time they put in. So if there is something you need from us, please let us know.

Here are some ideas of we can do for you:

  • We are delighted to provide references

  • We certificate volunteer hours  ~ great for your cv

  • It’s a great way to develop knowledge and experience in lots of different areas

  • Bulid a relationship with one of the horses and take part in our Playdays and events

  • Horsemanship Training

Please note as an organisation we do not offer riding and so will not be able to give ‘free’ rides in exchange for help. (This is an insurance issue)
